As always excellent next day service, fantastic watch 2nd of many more I'm sure

Unfortunately my Marathon MSAR 36mm Auto arrived in a used state.
I don't know if it was a display watch but it had scratches all over it. The wrapping I would expect on a new watch was missing so the alarm bells were triggered straight away.
It was returned at my expense but they did accept the return.
They need to check orders before despatch.

I'm very sorry to hear that the watch was not in the condition either of us would expect, or the standards that we strive for. We will be investigating this further as we believe it may have been received from Marathon like this. I can see it has only been in our stock for less than 6 weeks, and the location tracking shows it as Rack 9 > Shelf 1 while it was here and never went to the store or anywhere else.

That being said it is also very concerning this was not picked up in quality control during packing. We will therefore include this in our investigation so that this does not happen again.

Regarding postage, we offer free returns in all cases however for the higher value returns such as this one it has to be reimbursed separately. We have just reimbursed this to your payment method.
